[:es]El sábado por la noche, antes del desempate del Gran Premio Mutua Madrileña – Longines FEI World Cup, en el momento álgido de la jornada, cuando las gradas estaban a rebosar de gente, se otorgaba el Premio MHW 2017, el cual este año ha sido otorgado al Real Club de Polo de Barcelona.

Coincidiendo con su 120 aniversario, el club catalán recibía este galardón como reconocimiento a su larga trayectoria como organizador del Concurso de Saltos Internacional de Barcelona, el evento deportivo más antiguo de España. El Patronato de la Fundación Madrid Horse Week y su comité organizador decidía por unanimidad otorgar este premio en su quinta edición al Real Club de Polo de Barcelona, en cuyas instalaciones se albergaron también las pruebas de hípica de los Juegos Olímpicos de Barcelona 92.

En representación del comité organizador de la Fundación MHW, entregaban el premio Daniel Entrecanales y Luis Cabanas, Presidente y Vicepresidente de la Fundación, respectivamente; y Álvaro Arrieta, acompañados del Presidente de la Real Federación Española de Hípica, Javier Revuelta. Emilio Zegrí, Presidente de la Fundación del Real Club de Polo de Barcelona, y Santiago Mercé, Presidente del CSIO de Barcelona, recogían el premio en la Pista Principal de Madrid Horse Week.[:en]On Saturday night, before the tiebreak of the Mutua Madrileña – Longines FEI World Cup Grand Prix, at the height of the day, when the stands were overflowing with people, the 2017 MHW Award was given to the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona.

Coinciding with its 120th anniversary, the Catalan club received this award in recognition of its long history as organizer of the International Jumping Competition of Barcelona, the oldest sporting event in Spain. The Board of Madrid Horse Week Foundation and its organisation committee unanimously decided to award this prize in its fifth edition to the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona, in whose facilities were also housed the equestrian events of the Olympic Games of Barcelona 92.

On behalf of the organizing committee of the MHW Foundation, Daniel Entrecanales and Luis Cabanas, President and Vice President of the Foundation, and Álvaro Arrieta, accompanied by the President of the Royal Spanish Riding Federation, Javier Revuelta. Emilio Zegrí, President of the Real Club de Polo of Barcelona Foundation, and Santiago Mercé, President of the CSIO of Barcelona, collected the prize in the Main Arena of Madrid Horse Week.[:]
