Del 23 al 26 de noviembre, se celebra en IFEMA la quinta edición de MADRID HORSE WEEK, el multidisciplinar evento ecuestre para todos los públicos, en cuya inauguración se darán cita entre 1.000 y 1.200 escolares.

Además de las espectaculares competiciones, los más pequeños tienen la oportunidad de disfrutar de una primera experiencia ecuestre celebrando su “bautismo hípico” en el Pony Park del Salón del Caballo.

En esta edición, que tendrá lugar en los pabellones 12 y 14 del recinto ferial – lo que supone un espacio total de 50.000 metros cuadrados-, se amplía la oferta de entretenimiento para niños.

 

Madrid. Octubre 2017. MADRID HORSE WEEK, que se celebrará en los pabellones 12 y 14 de IFEMA entre el 23 y el 26 de noviembre próximo, regresa a la capital con una incomparable oferta de deporte y ocio, que este año prestará especial atención a los niños. Competición, espectáculo y entretenimiento se dan la mano durante cuatro jornadas llenas de actividades para toda la familia, en las que los más pequeños serán protagonistas.

Este otoño, Madrid se convierte de nuevo en referente mundial de la Hípica al acoger la quinta edición de la MADRID HORSE WEEK, en la que se disputarán competiciones tan significativas como el Gran Premio Mutua Madrileña – Longines FEI World CupTM Jumping, la Copa del Mundo de Volteo y la Final de la Copa ‘Maestros de la Vaquera’ (gran novedad de este año), además de un Gran Premio Internacional de Doma CDI5* y uno de salto CSI2*.

Entre 1.000 y 1.200 escolares acudirán el jueves 23 a partir de las 11 de la mañana a la sesión inaugural de MADRID HORSE WEEK, en la que podrán disfrutar de un Show Infantil y de la exhibición de la Guardia Real; además de tener acceso a diversos espectáculos, enmarcados en el Salón del Caballo, que acogerá multitud de exhibiciones y actividades lúdicas y didácticas orientadas a los pequeños.

Además, durante todo el fin de semana, MADRID HORSE WEEK ofrecerá demostraciones exclusivas de doma en libertad, western, equitación de trabajo y ‘horse agility’, con algunos de los deportistas españoles más destacados en esta modalidad.

UN DEPORTE EN AUGE ENTRE LOS MÁS JÓVENES

En los últimos años, viene aumentando significativamente la práctica de este deporte entre los más pequeños en toda España. De las 6731 licencias nacionales, un 37,97% corresponde a menores, repartidas en las categorías de Alevín, Infantil, Juvenil y Joven Jinete, lo que equivale a 2.556 federados. En cuanto a licencias territoriales, 19.606 corresponden a menores, un 59,51% del total. Y para seguir manteniendo la buena salud de la hípica entre los más jóvenes, MADRID HORSE WEEK ha decidido otorgarles una atención preferente, con el propósito de mantener y promover esta temprana afición con diversas actividades infantiles.

Como gran atracción para los más pequeños destaca el Pony Park, en cuyas instalaciones el público infantil puede disfrutar de su primera experiencia en el mundo de la Hípica, aprendiendo no sólo a montar a los ponis, sino también a cuidarlos, alimentarlos y cepillarlos. Al término de su ‘bautismo ecuestre’, los niños reciben un diploma que acredita su experiencia.

Además, el sábado 25 a las 17:30 horas y el domingo 26 a las 16:00, aproximadamente, la Pista Central de competición acogerá dos carreras, conocidas como Grand National, en las que jóvenes competidores de entre 10 y 12 años, procedentes del Club Hípica La Moraleja, medirán sus fuerzas montados en sus veloces ponis mientras todo el público vibra con la emoción de este turf en miniatura.

Por otra parte, en la jornada del viernes 24 de noviembre, el Salón del Caballo acogerá una sesión dedicada a la hípica adaptada, con exhibiciones especiales en la Pista de Espectáculos y sesiones de Hipoterapia en el mismo Pony Park, que permitirán a niños con diversas discapacidades participar activamente de esta gran fiesta del caballo.

Además, los pequeños pueden pasear junto a sus familias por el Village Comercial del Salón del Caballo, en el que más de 90 estands de moda, artículos ecuestres, veterinarios, de transporte equino, restauración, alimentación y decoración les mostrarán las últimas novedades de diversas marcas nacionales e internacionales.

Dentro de la amplia zona gastronómica de MADRID HORSE WEEK, RODILLA –patrocinador oficial del evento- ofrecerá menús infantiles con precios igualmente a la medida de los más pequeños.

From 23 to 26 November, IFEMA is holding the fifth edition of MADRID HORSE WEEK, the multidisciplinary equestrian event for all audiences, that will bring together between 1,000 and 1,200 school children at its opening ceremony.

In addition to the spectacular competitions, little ones have the chance to enjoy their first equestrian experience with a “horse riding baptism” in the Pony Park at the Horse Salon.

At this edition, which will take place at pavilions 12 and 14 of the exhibition centre -covering a total area of 50,000 square metres-, the range of entertainment for children has been extended.

MADRID HORSE WEEK, which will take place at pavilions 12 and 14 of IFEMA between 23 and 26 November, is returning to the capital with an incomparable range of sport and leisure, and this year there will be a special emphasis on children. Competitions, shows and entertainment will go hand-in-hand over four days full of activities for the entire family, where young children will play a starring role.

This autumn, Madrid will once again become a worldwide benchmark in Riding as it hosts the fifth edition of MADRID HORSE WEEK, which will hold very significant competitions such as the Grand Prix Mutua Madrileña Trophy – Longines FEI World CupTM Jumping, la World Cup Vaulting and the Final of the ‘Maestros de la Vaquera’ Cup (the great new addition this year), as well as a Dressage International Grand Prix CDI5* and a CSI2* show jumping competition.

On Thursday 23 at 11 in the morning between 1,000 and 1,200 school children will attend the opening session of MADRID HORSE WEEK, where they will be able to enjoy a Children´s Show and the Spanish Royal Guard display. They will also have access to different shows, part of the Horse Salon, which will host a range of fun and educational exhibitions aimed at children.

Also, during the entire weekend, MADRID HORSE WEEK will offer exclusive demonstrations of freestyle dressage, western, working equitation and horse agility, with some of the most outstanding Spanish sportspeople in this discipline.

A SPORT ON THE RISE AMONG CHILDREN

In recent years, there has been a significant rise in participation in this sport among young children across Spain. Of the 6731 national licenses, minors account for 37.97%, distributed across the Under-12´s, Under-14´s, Under-19´s and Young Rider categories, which equates to 2,556 federated riders. As for territorial licences, 19,606 correspond to minors, 59.51% of the total. And, in order to maintain the excellent health of riding among young people, MADRID HORSE WEEK has decided to devote special attention to them, with the aim of maintaining and promoting this early interest with different children´s activities.

As a great attraction for children, the Pony Park really stands out, at its facilities children can enjoy their first experience in the world of Riding. As well as learning how to ride ponies, they will also learn how to look after them, feed them and brush them. At the end their “horse riding baptism”, children receive a diploma that certifies their experience.

Also, on Saturday 25 at 5.30pm and on Sunday 26 at approximately 4pm, the Central Competition Arena will host two races, known as the Grand National, where young competitors aged between 10 and 12, from La Moraleja, will compete on their speedy ponies while the audience pulsates with the excitement of this miniature turf racing course.

On the other hand, on Friday 24 November, the Horse Salon will host a session devoted to adapted riding, with special exhibitions at the Show Arena and Riding Therapy sessions at the Pony Park, which will enable children with different disabilities to actively participate in this great equestrian party.

Also, children can go for a stroll with their families around the Shopping Village at the Horse Salon, where more than 90 stands with fashion, equestrian, veterinary and equine transport items, restaurants, food and décor goods will display the latest new products from different national and international brands.

Within the extensive gastronomic zone at MADRID HORSE WEEK, RODILLA -official sponsor of the event- will offer children´s menus with prices made to measure for the little ones.
