Madrid, November 16th, 2018. The most important sporting equestrian event in Spain returns this autumn to Madrid with an exceptional program full of new features. The VI edition of IFEMA MHW – which will take place on 23rd, 24th and 25th November in pavilions 12 and 14 of IFEMA – will offer 8 competition sessions and more than 15 classes and exhibitions in the Main Arena- between the day and the nocturnal-, with a total of 550,000 euros in prizes.

The Western European League of the FEI Dressage World Cup, which arrives for the first time to our country at the hand of IFEMA Madrid Horse Week.

This prestigious equestrian competition, organized by the International Equestrian Federation (FEI), incorporates the Spanish capital to a list of venues in which other European cities already include Lyon, Stuttgart, Salzburg, London, Amsterdam, Gothenburg and Bolduque, among others. Thus, for the first time in the history of this sport, our country will host a stage of the most prestigious indoor dressage circuit on the planet.

The Spanish Olympic rider Beatriz Ferrer-Salat, who last year won a convincing victory in the CDI5 * Alfonso X el Sabio Freestyle Grand Prix, riding her horse ‘Delgado’, will be one of the most outstanding participants of this FEI Dressage World Cup. The Barcelona rider, an authentic world star, hopes to repeat the success of her last appearance at IFEMA Madrid Horse Week, in which she achieved a score of 76.32, inaccessible to her rivals. The competition, which will be held in the freestyle mode, will start on Sunday, November 25th, starting at 5:30 p.m.
