Madrid Horse Week cierra su tercera edición con gran éxito

Madrid Horse Week cierra su segunda edición con éxito de participación y público. Más de 40.000 personas han asistido del 26 al 29 de noviembre al mayor evento ecuestre multidisciplinar de España. Durante las sesiones de tarde del viernes y las jornadas de sábado y domingo las gradas de la Pista Central estuvieron abarrotadas de público.

Madrid ha acogido por primera vez tres Copas del Mundo simultáneamente de Salto, Volteo y Enganches y lo ha hecho con gran éxito. La Copa del Mundo de Volteo “Trofeo Coca Cola”, que se celebraba por primera vez en España, fue la primera de las tres en disputarse. Los favoritos no defraudaron al púbico madrileño y se alzaron con el triunfo en sus disciplinas, Simone Jäiser en individual femenino y Daniel Kaisser en individual masculino.

El Gran Premio Longines FEI World Cup Jumping “Trofeo Mutua Madrileña”, daba comienzo a las 13:00h del domingo con las gradas llenas y mucha expectación hacia la participación española, consiguiendo el madrileño Eduardo Álvarez Aznar la mejor posición y manteniéndose como mejor español en el ranking de la liga europea. El ganador fue el alemán Christian Ahlmann con Taloubet Z.

La Copa del Mundo de Enganches “Trofeo Vitaldent” clausuraba la competición deportiva de esta edición de MHW. El seis veces campeón del mundo Boyd Exell conseguía el triunfo en la primera etapa de la FEI World Cup Driving.

El programa deportivo de MHW ha sido de lo más completo, celebrándose además un CSI2* y un CDI3*. Pero no todo ha sido competición en los pabellones 6, 8 y 10 de Ifema. Exhibiciones de doma para ecuestre, carreras de ponis, una programación intensa en la pista de espectáculos del Salón del Caballo, stands comerciales, poni park y un largo listado de actividades han entretenido a los más de 40.000 espectadores.

Momentos emotivos en Madrid Horse Week

El viernes a las 20:30h se le hizo un homenaje a José Manuel Pérez Arroyo por su vinculación al mundo ecuestre como jinete, profesor, entrenador, jefe de equipo, criador, juez, jefe de pista, organizador y promotor de concursos, entre otros.

El domingo, entre la primera manga y el desempate de la Copa del Mundo de Salto, Pepe Álvarez de las Asturias Bohorques recibió el premio MHW 2015 por su trayectoria deportiva como jinete, juez oficial internacional y federativo; y por su contribución al deporte ecuestre.

Además, la española Beatriz Ferrer Salat recibía un a premio por su medalla de bronce en el Campeonato de Europa y su cuarto puesto por equipos.

Madrid Horse Week baja el talón hasta el año que viene con un tercera edición muy completa donde profesionales y aficionados han podido disfrutar de cuatro jornadas cargadas de competición, espectáculos y diversión.

Madrid Horse Week closes its third edition with success of participation and public. Over 40,000 people attended from 26 to 29 of November the largest multidisciplinary equestrian event in Spain. The evenings of Friday and during Saturday and Sunday tickets have been sold only as attendees were leaving the main arena, because of the volume of spectators in the stands.

Madrid has welcomed for the first time three World Cups simultaneously of Jumping, Vaulting and Driving; and has done it successfully. The FEI World Cup Vaulting “Coca Cola Trophy”, which was held for the first time in Spain, was the first of three in dispute. The favorites did not disappoint the Madrid pubic and picked up the win in their disciplines, Simone Jäiser in women’s singles and Daniel Kaisser men’s singles.

Madrid hosted for the second consecutive year the Longines FEI World Cup Jumping and has done so with great success. The class presented by Mutua Madrileña started at 13: 00h on Sunday with the grandstands full and much anticipation to the Spanish participation- Eduardo Alvarez Aznar got the best position, maintaining the best Spanish in the Western European league. The winner was the German Christian Ahlmann with Taloubet Z.

The FEI World Cup Driving “Vitaldent Trophy” closed the sports competition of this edition of MHW. The six-time world champion Boyd Exell got the win in the first leg of the FEI World Cup Driving.

The sports program of MHW has been very complete, being celebrated also one CSI2 * and CDI3 *. But not everything has been competition in halls 6, 8 and 10 of Ifema. Para-equestrian dressage exhibitions, ponies racing, an intense programming in the spectacles arena of the Horse Venue, commercial stands, pony park and a long list of activities that have entertained the more than 40,000 spectators.

Emotional moments in Madrid Horse Week

On Friday at 20: 30h was made a tribute to Jose Manuel Pérez Arroyo for their connection to the equestrian world as rider, teacher, coach, team manager, breeder, judge, ringmaster, organizer and promoter of competitions, among others.

On Sunday, between the first round and the jump off of the World Cup Jumping, Pepe Alvarez de las Asturias Bohorques received the MHW 2015 award for his sporting career as a rider, official international judge and federation member; and for his contribution to equestrian sport.

In addition, the Spanish Beatriz Ferrer Salat received a prize for her bronze medal at the European Championship and the fourth place by teams.

Madrid Horse Week turn the lights of its third edition where professionals and amateurs have been able to enjoy four days of jumping, vaulting, driving, dressage, shows, exhibitions and pony park, among others.
