Spain’s most important equestrian sporting event returns to Madrid this autumn with an exceptional programme. After a year’s break caused by the health circumstances that affected the entire world, a new edition of IFEMA MADRID HORSE WEEK – to be held on 26, 27 and 28 November in Halls 12 and 14 of IFEMA – will once again make the Spanish capital a world reference  for equestrian sports, a meeting point for equestrian enthusiasts, equine-loving families and numerous well-known faces, who will come together at the major competitions in the main arena and around the shows and activities for all audiences that will take place at the Salón del Caballo.


IFEMA MADRID HORSE WEEK will once again host the World Cup in its European league. The most important circuit of the calendar is held in 11 locations in the main European cities and will culminate with the final in Leipzig next April 2022.  After Oslo, Lyon and Verona, Madrid hosts this time the fourth venue of the Longines FEI Jumping World CupTM and the third venue of the FEI Dressage World CupTM circuit. It also includes an International Jumping Grand Prix, CSI1*, and a new edition of the ‘Maestros de la Vaquera’ Cup Final, an exclusive western competition.

In addition, two exciting competitions will be held on Friday and Saturday evening. Porsche will sponsor the 6 bars class, and the Jump & Drive, in which the participating riders will have to combine a route on horseback and another one driving a car.
The little ones also have their place in the main arena, where the traditional turf with ponies will take place, one of the most fun event at IFEMA Madrid Horse Week. This year, the final of the III AON PonyTurf Championship will take place with the small Shetland ponies competing in a Grand National.

Halls 12 and 14 of IFEMA -almost 40,000 m2 entirely dedicated to the world of horses- will once again attract many well-known faces, who will be able to enjoy, among other attractions, the VIP Boxes or Tables, the ideal place for networking and enjoying the best equestrian events in the world.


Salón del Caballo, Commercial Village and children’s activities

Once again this year, IFEMA MHW’s proposal goes beyond competition to offer visitors a complete range of entertainment with the numerous shows at the Salón del Caballo, which this year will feature an extensive programme of exhibitions and activities for all audiences; a Commercial Village with more than 80 stands with fashion, equestrian articles, veterinary, equine transport, restaurants, food and decoration, where various national and international brands shows the public their latest novelties; A large gastronomic area with a wide range of restaurants led by Rodilla, Estrella Damm, Marqués de Vargas and Ron Barceló. The Salón del Caballo will also include numerous activities, including a children’s area organised by the EGrupo Eueln; the opportunity to have their first experience with horses in the Pony Park or to become a Porsche driver thanks to the mini cars that the automobile company will make available childrens.

As for the sponsors of IFEMA Madrid Horse Week, this year’s list includes PorscheGilmar Consulting Inmobiliario, the equestrian television channel Horse TV, the Marqués de Vargas winery, El Corte InglésAON and Quirón Salud. These are joined by the usual companies such as Estrella Damm, Rodilla, Grupo Eulen, Longines, ¡Hola!, the Alfonso X el Sabio University and the unconditional support of Madrid City Council
