Madrid, 23 de noviembre de 2016 – A partir de mañana, jueves 24, los pabellones 6, 8 y 10 de Ifema acogerán la cuarta edición de Madrid Horse Week, el mayor evento ecuestre a nivel mundial. Madrid Horse Week es una visita indispensable no solo para los aficionados del mundo del caballo, sino también ofrece una amplia programación de ocio y entretenimiento para todos los públicos. Durante estos días, se podrá disfrutar de las Copas del Mundo de Salto, Volteo, y este año como novedad, se dará a conocer el JumpingClash Challenge, una innovadora fórmula de competición que revolucionará el mundo del salto.
En la Copa del Mundo de Salto,participarán cinco de los diez mejores jinetes del ranking internacional, entre los que cabe destacar al segundo de lista Simón Delestre, el número 5 y ganador de la Copa del Mundo de Lyon, Daniel Deusser o Marcus Ehning.
España estará representada por el equipo al completo, el cual se encargó de representar al país el pasado agosto en los JJOO de Río 2016. Sergio Álvarez Moya, líder del ranking nacional y actual campeón de España, Eduardo Álvarez o Pilar Cordón, serán algunos de los españoles que tratarán de conseguir puntos para la liga europea.
Madrid Horse Week acogerá también desde el jueves 24 hasta el sábado 26 las pruebas del CSI2*, las cuales incluirán las fases eliminatorias del JumpingClash Challenge, que se estrena a nivel mundial. Un nuevo concepto de competición hípica dinámica y emocionante en la que las pruebas son divididas en dos grupos: seeded (8 mejores jinetes del Longines FEI ranking) y challengers (8 mejores jinetes de la primera prueba calificativa).
En la Copa del Mundo de Volteo participarán 8 jinetes en total: 4 en la prueba femenina, y 4 en la masculina. En la prueba femenina encontramos a volteadoras tales como Anna Cavallaro, la cual se encuentra en tercera posición del ranking internacional o Nadja Büttiker, siguiente en la lista. En la prueba masculina cabe destacar al número 2 del ranking internacional Thomas Brüsewitz y Daniel Kaiser que le sigue en tercera posición.
Madrid Horse Week aumenta su nivel respecto al año pasado en doma, siendo sede de un Concurso de Doma Internacional 4*, el cual reunirá a los jinetes y amazonas del más alto nivel, como la española, Beatriz Ferrer-Salat, ganadora de ocho medallas en Juegos Olímpicos y de distintas competiciones a nivel europeo y mundial.
Uno de los mayores atractivos de Madrid Horse Week es su oferta de ocio familiar, perfecto para el público general que pretende acercar el universo ecuestre a grandes y pequeños. El Salón del Caballo, ubicado en el pabellón 8, ofrece un espacio perfecto para disfrutar de una oferta de ocio variada y completa, con una pista de espectáculos con programación continua, zonas de restauración, pony park y juegos infantiles, además de numerosos stands. La pista de espectáculos tendrá una intensa programación agrupada en jornadas temáticas.

Madrid, 23rd November 2016 – Starting tomorrow, Thursday 24, Ifema pavilions 6, 8 and 10 will host the fourth edition of Madrid Horse Week, the biggest equestrian event in the world. Madrid Horse Week is an indispensable visit not only for horse lovers, but it also offers a wide range of leisure and entertainment for all types of audience. During these days, the FEI World Cups Jumping and Vaulting will take place, and this year as a novelty, the JumpingClash Challenge, an innovative formula of competition that will revolutionize the world the jumping, will be released.
In the FEI World Cup Jumping, five of the top ten ranking international riders will be found, among which include second on the list Simon Delestre, number 5 and winner of the World Cup of Lyon, Daniel Deusser or Marcus Ehning.

In the FEI World Cup Vaulting 8 riders will participate in total: 4 in the feminine round, and 4 in the masculine one. In the women’s round we find riders such as Anna Cavallaro, who is in third position of the international ranking or Nadja Büttiker, next on the list. The men’s round includes number 2 international ranking Thomas Brüsewitz and Daniel Kaiser which follows him in third position.
Madrid Horse Week increases its level in dressage, being the venue of an International Dressage Competition 4*, which will bring together riders of the highest level, such as Spanish Olympian Beatriz Ferrer-Salat, who earned eight medals at Olympic Games as well as World and European Championships.
One of the biggest attractions of Madrid Horse Week is its family leisure offer, that aims to bring the equestrian universe to all types of public. El Salón del Caballo, Located in pavillion 8, offers a perfect space to enjoy a varied and complete leisure offer, with a track of shows with continuous programming, dining areas, pony park and children’s games, as well as numerous stands.
