Madrid, octubre 2018. MADRID HORSE WEEK, el evento hípico más importante de España, vuelve este otoño con multitud de novedades, entre ellas, una oferta de ocio infantil divertida, amena y súper amplia para que los más pequeños de la casa se lo pasen en grande.
La sexta edición de MHW -que se celebra del 23 al 25 de noviembre en los pabellones 12 y 14 de IFEMA- se convertirá de nuevo en referente mundial de la hípica, punto de encuentro de aficionados a este deporte, pero también un plan perfecto para ir con niños. ¿Te apuntas?
Desde primera hora de la mañana, los peques de la casa podrán disfrutar de ver a los caballos trabajando diferentes disciplinas y temáticas que harán las delicias del público infantil. ¡querrán montar a caballo como los auténticos vaqueros! Pero, sin duda alguna la actividad que causa furor entre los más pequeños y no tan pequeños, es el ya famoso ‘bautismo hípico’ en el Pony Park del Salón del Caballo. ¿En qué consiste? los niños tienen la oportunidad de disfrutar de su primera experiencia ecuestre en total contacto con los animales. Además de montar a los ponis, aprenden a cuidarlos, alimentarlos y cepillarlos. Y, al término de su ‘bautismo ecuestre’, reciben un diploma que acredita su experiencia ¡un super plan que les acerca al mundo ecuestre de forma divertida y amena!
Si lo que prefieren ver es una carrera de caballos en toda regla no se pueden perder el Pony Turf, una de las competiciones más divertidas y aplaudidas por el público en las que jóvenes competidores de entre 8 y 11 años medirán sus fuerzas montados en sus veloces ponis, mientras el público vibra con la emoción de este turf en miniatura.
¿Horarios? El sábado 24 a las 22:00 horas y el domingo 25 a las 16:00 horas, la Pista Central acogerá dos carreras -organizadas en colaboración con el Hipódromo de la Zarzuela-
Pero esto no es todo, porque además habrá zona de juegos y pintacaras, para que los niños se pinten con la cara de su animal favorito, mientras sus familias pueden pasear por el Village Comercial del Salón del Caballo, en el que más de 90 estands de moda, artículos ecuestres, veterinarios, de transporte equino, restauración, alimentación y decoración ofrecen las últimas novedades de prestigiosas marcas nacionales e internacionales.

The sixth edition of MHW – which will be held from 23rd to 25th November in pavilions 12 and 14 of IFEMA – will once again become a world benchmark for horse riding, a meeting point for fans of this sport, but also a perfect plan to go with children. Do you sign up?
From early in the morning, the children of the house will enjoy seeing the horses working different disciplines and themes that will delight the children. They will want to ride horses like the real cowboys! But, undoubtedly the activity that causes furor among the smallest and not so small, is the now famous ‘equestrian baptism’ in the Pony Park of the Commercial Village. What does it consist of? Children have the opportunity to enjoy their first equestrian experience in total contact with animals. In addition to riding the ponies, they learn to take care of them, feed them and brush them. And, at the end of their ‘equestrian baptism’, they receive a diploma that credits their experience, a super plan that brings them closer to the equestrian world in a fun and enjoyable way!
If what you prefer to see is a full-fledged horse race you can not miss the Pony Turf, one of the funniest competitions and applauded by the public in which young competitors between 8 and 11 years old will measure their forces mounted on their speed ponies, while the audience vibrates with the emotion of this miniature turf.
Timetable? On Saturday 24th at 22:00 hours and Sunday 25th at 16:00 hours, the Main Arena will host two races -organized in collaboration with the Hipódromo de la Zarzuela-
